Frequently Asked Questions?

Besides the different colors the only differences are the liners and the texture of the Nitrile Foam coating on the palm and fingers.

Lion Claw (Black) has a Spandex/Nylon liner which is more form fitting and slightly warmer.
Tiger Claw (Red) has a Polyester liner, and the red color is more visible and fits slightly looser than the Lion Claw.

The Bear Claw and The General are the only types that are Cut Resistant. These gloves are rated for Abrasion, Cut, Tear, and Puncture. Sold mainly for the Cut (blade) Resistance.  ANSI level 4 and CE level 5. Ratings are as follows (4,5,4,3). Remember that gloves are Cut Resistant NOT Cut PROOF.

Nitrile rubber, also known as NBR, Buna-N, and acrylonitrile butadiene rubber, is a synthetic rubber copolymer of acrylonitrile (ACN) and butadiene. Trade names include Perbunan, Nipol, Krynac and Europrene.

Nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) is a family of unsaturated copolymers of 2-propenenitrile and various butadiene monomers (1,2-butadiene and 1,3-butadiene). Although its physical and chemical properties vary depending on the polymer’s composition of nitrile, this form of synthetic rubber is unusual in being generally resistant to oil, fuel, and other chemicals (the more nitrile within the polymer, the higher the resistance to oils but the lower the flexibility of the material).

It is used in the automotive and aeronautical industry to make fuel and oil handling hoses, seals, grommets, and self-sealing fuel tanks, since ordinary rubbers cannot be used.[1] It is used in the nuclear industry to make protective gloves. NBR’s ability to withstand a range of temperatures from −40 to 108 °C (−40 to 226 °F) makes it an ideal material for aeronautical applications. Nitrile butadiene is also used to create moulded goods, footwear, adhesives, sealants, sponges, expanded foams, and floor mats.

When we mention Breathability we mean breathable through BOTH sides of the glove.  We’ve created a NBR foam coated glove coating that has micro-pours through the coating on the palm and fingers. This allows air flow through both sides of the gloves.  You will notice the difference because of the minimal sweat and comfort of wearing your gloves for long periods of time.  The breathability of our coating is truly what makes our gloves unique and why we standout amongst our competitors.

For Shipping reasons it doesn’t make sense to buy a glove for $5-6 and spend $5-10 to ship them to you.  We ship them by the dozen to incorporate the cost of shipping per pair, and make it more cost sensitive.  We also offer a money back, exchangeable, no questions asked guarantee for any unused product.  This guarantee gives everyone a risk free option to try our products.

We do Not ship outside the USA, except on a case by case basis. This would require payment upfront for product and shipping cost. Please call 801-893-2121.
